To be able to circulate from 1 January 2021 in the cities of the Piemonte region Euro 5 standard is required.

Every winter a special winter low emission zone comes into place in Piemonte. This year it is divided in two parts: 1 October - 31 December 2020 and 1 January - 31 March 2021.
In the first part diesel vehicles need to meet Euro 4 standard, in the second part the Euro standard for diesel vehicles is tightened to Euro 5.
In the following years will diesel vehicles have to meet Euro standard 5 from 1 October to 31 March of the following year. This is valid until 31 March 2026. We expect that from this point in time on the standard will be tightened further.
