Stuttgart winter emergency scheme ends.

Between 15 October 2019 and 15 April 2020 Stuttgart triggers a fine dust (‘Feinstaub’) alert when pollution is expected to be particularly high.
The fine dust alarm is triggered as soon as the German weather service (DWD) predicts a weather inversion on at least two consecutive days (where there are for example low wind speeds, and the polluted air collects in the city).
