Grenoble Low Emission Zone will affect cars, motorcycles, mopeds and quads

From 1 July 2023 diesel cars, motorcycles, mopeds and quads will have to meet the given emission standard.

The objective of the Low Emission Zone is to improve air quality in the Grenoble metropolitan area.
After having implemented it for utility vehicles and heavy goods vehicles in 2019, Grenoble Alpes Métropole launched studies for passenger cars, motorcycles, mopeds and quads.
In the meantime, the "Climate and Resilience" law of August 2021 has made ZFEs compulsory in many French cities.
